Whilst we love talking to our customers and sharing our Redwoods Farm story, we are also committed to sharing knowledge within the industry with other farmers. It is only by talking with and listening to others that we expand our knowledge, which helps us constantly evolve what we do. Following on from speaking in Westminster for the launch of the Soy No More report (read our blog on it here), we are hosting Pasture for Life & Landworker's Alliance with an industry farm visit.
Pastured Pigs & Poultry
We will be welcoming farmers who want to learn more about our 100% soy free pastured pig and poultry system here at Redwoods Farm.
Date: 1 August 2023
Time: 11.15am for 11.30am start
The visit will start with a talk from Amy with a Q&A, followed by lunch and then a farm tour in the afternoon to see the poultry & pig systems in action. Topics for discussion will include feed sources, pasture rotations, housing, and more, with an explanation of the story of Redwoods Farm so far and plans for the future. There'll be the chance of some tasty refreshments on offer too!
If you are a farmer keen to hear more, then please visit the Pasture for Life event page to book your FREE place:
We're looking forward to welcoming you to Redwoods Farm and to your questions for a truly interactive discussion!
Part of the Deforestation Free Pigs & Poultry project
Our farm visit is part of the joint project between Pasture for Life, Landworker’s Alliance & Feedback on Deforestation Free Pigs & Poultry. This includes a series of events to highlight the different approaches pasture-based farmers are using to work towards soy-free pig and poultry production. More events can be found on the Pasture for Life Eventbrite page.
